I look forward to welcoming existing and new clients back to Coastal Retreat Beauty. It has certainly been a strange and challenging 2020 so far. As always my top priority whilst treating clients has always been hygiene and cleanliness, however extra measures will obviously need be taken to ensure your safety and mine to minimise any risk wherever possible.
I have completed two COVID-19 Infection and Prevention and control courses accredited by Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd. the UK trade body for our industry and Barbicide Infection Control. Whilst closed i have implemented a number of changes in the way that I operate that you will notice at your next visit.
Visiting the Salon
For your safety and to maintain social distancing i ask that you attend you appointments as close to the appointment time as possible.
I have increased the frequency of cleaning in the salon including making sure surfaces, toilet door handles etc are wiped clean with disinfectant products between each client.
All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers instructions for your safety, so as not to come in contact with leaving clients.
You will have access to soap, hot water and hand sanitiser as soon as you enter.
I will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a face mask or disposable gloves when you visit. Please do not be surprised or upset if I use personal protective equipment during your visit and during your treatment.
All towels and uniforms will be laundered at 60 degrees C.
If you feel ill or any member of your family or household display symptoms of COVID-19 please DO NOT TURN UP to your appointment, cancellation charges will be waived at this time. Likewise if I feel unwell I will contact you straight away to reschedule your appointment. I understand this way be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety.
All of the procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take the advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe and practice and will amend them as necessary.
